Real Moments That Inspire

Danica – A Princess on a Mission

Danica, just 4 years old, became the first young “princess” to fly on an AeroAngel jet to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston for a week-long evaluation for a lung transplant. Traveling with her mom and nurse from Bismarck, she safely returned home after her appointments, with a hopeful return visit planned in six months.

Nick – Homework After Healing

Fourteen-year-old Nick from Cortez, Colorado, battled leukemia and required a bone marrow transplant. Over five months, AeroAngel flew him and his parents to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego for vital follow-up appointments. The flights allowed Nick to receive specialized care and still make it home the same day to keep up with school.

Rylee – A Flight Toward Answers

Two-year-old Rylee from Williston, North Dakota, needed answers for a rare liver disease and couldn’t safely travel on commercial airlines. AeroAngel stepped in to fly her and her family to Stanford University in San Jose, California, where specialized doctors could help. Her story highlights the essential need for medical flights to top pediatric hospitals.

Kimberly – From Treatment to the Track

Fifteen-year-old Kimberly, a leukemia survivor from Columbia Falls, Montana, received a bone marrow transplant in 2018 and was flown home by AeroAngel from Denver Children’s Hospital after three different hospital stays. Now, years later and in remission, she’s back on track with many more miles logged.
