With over 250 Children’s Hospitals in the U.S., the demand for AeroAngel’s flights continues to grow.
To serve more children, we’re working to acquire a dedicated Embraer Phenom 300 jet, allowing us to expand operations, provide more immediate flights, and increase our impact nationwide.
A former Assistant U.S. Attorney and commercial pilot, Mark founded AeroAngel in 2010 to combine his passion for aviation with a mission to serve those in need. Since then, he has co-piloted over 100 missions, ensuring that children across the country can access critical care.

AeroAngel is led by pilots, brokers, realtors, entrepreneurs, and parents—all united in helping critically ill children access life-saving care. Their expertise and dedication ensure every flight brings hope and healing.
Operating a high performance jet aircraft is expensive and requires a huge amount of resources. These organizations are helping support us with either in-kind services or financial support. Their choice to partner with us demonstrates a strong committment to supporting our mission. We couldn’t do it without them!

We primarily serve medically fragile children (and some young adults) who need to travel long distances for life-saving medical care and cannot fly commercially due to their condition.
No. All AeroAngel flights are 100% free for families, thanks to donations and volunteer pilots.
We coordinate flights across all 50 states and can access both major and small regional airports to minimize travel time for families.
You can donate, sponsor a flight, volunteer your time, or spread awareness to help us provide more life-saving flights.
We recommend at least three weeks’ notice, but we do our best to accommodate urgent requests for critical medical needs.
